Create your own birth chart

Enter your details below to generate your own natal chart.  The time should be as accurate as possible as the Ascendant is time sensitive, travelling 1 degree approximately every four to five minutes and changing sign approximately every two and a half hours. The Ascendant (or rising sign) is the constellation travelling up, over the Eastern horizon at the time you were born.  The Eastern horizon in the natal chart is the nine o’clock position or confusingly, the Western point on a compass. The Moon is also time sensitive, though it is slower moving than the Ascendant, changing signs every two to two and a half days. The Sun moves a degree a day, and changes sign every thirty days. So as you can see, accuracy is important when generating your birth chart, and every second counts!

Interpretation

So you’ve created your chart and you still don’t really understand what it all means? Even when clicking all over it and reading the interpretations built in to the design? The reason why is that your birth chart (or horoscope as it is more commonly known), is a very complex system. With a computerised interpretation you can have pre-formatted responses when you click on each of the symbols, but each one may contradict the last. How can that be possible when you have a birth chart? Well that’s because you may well have placements in your chart that are contradictory, but you don’t realise it because you have been working with these placements your whole life and you don’t know any other way of being. When you face challenging experiences or stages in life which you struggle through, an astrologer can look at your particular combinations and help to make sense of them by giving you tailored guidance based on your particular chart signature.

Seeking the interpretation of an astrologer is useful because instead of giving computer generated explanations that contradict each other, the astrologer can interpret your birth chart and combine challenging placements in a way that makes sense to you.
