Hello there!

I’m Stefanie (my friends call me Steff) and I’m very grateful to you for showing an interest in what I do.

You’ll learn a few things about me on this page, but if you don’t have time to read my life story, here’s my top 5:

  1. I have two fur babies and one real baby
Lana and Archer are my nutty, naughty, hilarious fuzzy friends that make me smile every single day, and my little boy who amazes me at each stage of his development. It’s true what they say: it’s the hardest job in the world, but it’s so worth it.
  2. Herbal tea is my go-to drink
I gave up coffee and most carbonated drinks during a major detox in 2013 and upped my herbal tea game. I have different types for various occasions and ailments. My current favourite is Rooibos.
  3. Bath bombs fill me with joy
Pamper days at the spa or at home make me so happy! I once spent so long in the bath, my boyfriend genuinely thought I’d drowned. You can’t go wrong surprising me with a bath bomb (but go easy on the glitter).
  4. I’m a bit of a space-geek
I love anything science-fiction and space related (if you couldn’t already tell). One of my all-time favourite films is Contact which I love for being so thought provoking and magical (and absolutely nothing to do with Matthew McConnaughey being topless in it).
  5. The inner-workings of the human mind fascinate me
My other interests include: health and fitness, mindfulness, positive mental health, hypnotherapy, NLP, neuroscience and psychology, and (if you hadn’t already guessed) I’m totally obsessed with astrology.

Early Life

As a child, I would talk to my mum about magic and mystery and be fascinated to hear stories about my grandfather (who passed just after I was born) and his ability to hypnotise people, and my great-grandfather who was able to read palms.

My mum would often refer to being born ‘on the cusp’ having stubborn Leo traits alongside her Virgo sun-sign qualities. This triggered my interest and growing up my school books were covered in doodles of astrological and planetary glyphs.

As a horoscope-obsessed child, I’d spend all my pocket-money buying magazines so I could read all about my sun-sign and would quiz my friends on theirs whenever they’d give me air-time!

When my teachers asked me what I wanted to do when I left school my answer was simple: I wanted to study the planets!

Saturn Return

Fast-forward to my Saturn return at 29, where my inner compass re-calibrated to my true calling in life.

After a rather rocky period of sensible career choices and not-so-sensible lifestyle choices, I decided to reclaim my power and stop valuing other people’s opinions over my own happiness.

I decided to book myself into the year one beginner’s astrology class with the London School of Astrology (LSA) and had no idea how much this tiny action (which felt like a huge decision at the time) would positively impact the rest of my life.

That was the turning point.

Stellium Astrology

In 2014 I created stelliumastrology.com which is where my adventure began.

Since then I’ve taught classes and presented my research both in the UK and internationally, had articles and columns printed in a number of publications including The Book of Music Horoscopes, The Mountain Astrologer Magazine, and Astro.com, and had a monthly horoscope column in ELLE magazine UK.

Currently, I consult with clients, teach astrology students, run The Stellium Astrology Community on Facebook, and host The Stellium Astrology Podcast where I talk about all things astrology and share some of the magic and inspiration that astrology continually brings me.

My Astrology

I have a hard-working Capricorn sun in the transformative eighth house and a playful fifth house moon in Scorpio.

Saturn and Pluto—the ruling planets of my sun and moon—form a seriously intense conjunction in my fifth house of hobbies and fun, which squares my sweet-talking and mysterious eighth house Mercury–Venus conjunction in Aquarius.

This suits my curious Gemini rising who loves to make connections, explore perspectives and share ideas with anyone who’ll listen.

Curious Mercury (my chart ruler), sits with loveable Venus, passionate Mars and my career point (the midheaven) forming a unique and work-orientated Aquarius Stellium in the deep psychological underworld that is the eighth house.

Unconventional Uranus—ruler of all the planets in my quirky Aquarius Stellium—is in conjunction with exeuberant Jupiter in Sagittarius in my sixth house of routine and grind.

Jupiter is the final dispositor (and acting CEO) of my natal chart, meaning the rest of the planets have to report back to him.

Passionate Mars harmoniously trines alluring Pluto at 29° Libra giving me the grit and determination to keep getting back up whenever I get knocked down and use the lessons I’ve learned to help others in similar predicaments.

Spiritual Neptune in idealistic Sagittarius is precariously balanced on the tip of the centaurs’ arrow pointing exactly at the super-massive black hole at the centre of our galaxy giving me an undiluted cosmic-connection to our Galactic Centre Point.

To Summarise

I lean towards optimism and see the deeper meaning in events and have a knack for recognising synchronicities, making connections and interpreting symbolism in the world around me.

I haven’t always been such a positive soul; I’ve had a few experiences in my life which left me a shell of a person having to rebuild myself from scratch. It was these experiences which inspired me to look for answers.

The difficulties I went through made me aware of my personal resilience, leaving me stronger, wiser, and able to help others with similar problems.

My interest in ethical working as a consultant and practitioner was triggered by a bad experience I had with an astrologer who used the reading as a chance to pursue his own agenda with me.

From that moment I decided I never wanted to make anyone to feel the way he made me feel that day, and embarked on a journey of personal introspection and professional reflection to raise my self-awareness.

I did a lot of research into professional ethical frameworks to ensure I handle my interactions responsibly, respecting boundaries, safeguarding, and promoting the positive wellbeing of my clients.

This prompted me to study counselling skills and work in accordance with the BACP ethical framework. This paired with my personal experiences has earned me the non-judgmental ear which I use to be a confidante to my family, friends, and clients.
