The Zodiac Signs: Capricorn
Capricorn is a Cardinal Earth Sign
Capricorn is the tenth sign of the Zodiac. It begins on the Winter Solstice which marks the Shortest day in the northern hemisphere. Capricorn season coincides with Christmas, Yule and New Year celebrations in the Gregorian calendar and instigates the period of the year where most people engage in their annual power-down! Ready for a fresh reboot in the new year, most of us make personal resolutions of goals and ambitions we wish to achieve.

The Sun in the above chart has just set over the western horizon (the descendant) in the sign of Sea Goat Capricorn. In fact all of Amanda’s planets are below the horizon except for adventurous Jupiter sitting up in the eight house.
Amanda has a stellium in Capricorn including her Sun, charming Venus, Dreamy Neptune and quizzical Mercury. Though Capricorn has a reputation for their harsh and practical ability, Neptune is very close to Mercury clouding judgement. Neptune and Venus being so close to one another they create a fluffy romanticism, softening this Capricorn stellium, which most might normally contribute to a more stoic and unflinching exterior!
Not to say that is a bad thing, it’s just not so typically Capricorn. However, Amanda’s fun-loving fifth house Sagittarius Moon is in conjunction with Saturn so there is a very practical and structured sense to her feeling realms, helping to ground some of that romanticism while still finding time for some serious fun!
